About Our Ministries
Men
Men have a headship mandate from God and learning how to be a Godly Prophet, Priest and King of your family is at the core of the Men’s Ministry at Abraham’s Tent.
Women
Proverbs 31 provides a model for the godly women God wants to raise up in our midst. Skilled, knowledgeable, confident and respectful women who know that they are co-equal, co-labourers and joint heirs with men in dignity and purpose. These are the women of Abraham’s Tent
Prayer & Intercession
We are a praying church and we believe in the priesthood of all believers and as such we encourage every member to have a very vibrant prayer life, but we also recognise that there are certain individuals that God call specifically to stand in the Gap for people, nations and events and this is the role of our intercessory team. The pray 24/7 and keep the fire burning on the lamp of prayer in our community.
Worship
The Praise and Worship Team are a dedicated group who prayerfully lead and direct to worship of the church. They select and lead the songs and seek to help people experience the presence of the Lord and have encounters with the Lord in worship. They do it purely for HIM.
Couples & Family
We believe that strong families are the backbone of strong and progressive societies. At Abraham’s Tent, we have a dedicated ministry to couples and marriages. We teach and practically support couples to live in the fullness of the Kingdom of God and enjoy heaven on earth.
Children
The early years of a person’s life are so vital in shaping their God given destiny. That’s why we take extra care of ensuring that the right seed is sown into our children in the right environment, using the right and appropriate models of learning and playing. Our children have been recognised repeatedly in their schools as role models and leaders.
Youths
Leadership starts from the day you are born. We believe if our young people will be in charge of the nation and society, then they should be trained and equipped for it in a fun and vibrant way. So our youths are seen as leaders, with a unique expression.
Vital
This vital ministry helps to enhance, capture and propagate all that we do in our ministry. From music, to worship, to live streaming our services to building a library of all our materials and making them accessible to all. These talented people work mostly behind the scenes but play a very vital role in ensuring we are all kept informed.
Cell
